I’ve had a wonderful opportunity to work in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, this week and came across this exquisite steam fountain in one of the city’s many coffee shops.
Crumbs, bb ! – talk about casually dropping something into the conversation ! [grin] Just happened to be in HCM City, eh ?
The steam machine is indeed beautiful ! – you are perfectly correct ! 😀
Funny that 🙂 I once had a conversation with girlfriends (after a few glasses of wine) about household chores that we secretly love. A normally reserved friend shrieked that she LOVES polishing the floor. 🙂
If you had asked me to guess the country, Vietnam would NOT have sprung to mind.
Gorgeous vessel.
A city full of surprises, Nancy.
Now that is a serious espresso machine! Beautiful!
Isn’t it just, Patti?!
What a stunning kitchen accoutrement 😉 lucky you to be travelling for work – stay safe
I wouldn’t like to be the one to polish it! 😉
Fantastic! Enjoy your travels 😀
Thanks, Dianne. It was an enlightening experience 🙂
Wow!
And it pumps out the steam with great gusto.

*grin* – my job has its pros, as well as its cons.
Vietnamese coffee! Very strong coffee! Did you try any, BB? 🙂
I did, Mabel. I had the drip coffee and then after that asked for weak lattes, haha.
BB…lucky you! I love the reflected colors in this beautiful “container.” 🙂
I would love to know its history, Sue. A spectacular machine.
I think I want one BB
You and me, both, Jo. I’ve never seen anything quite like it.
That’s fabulous! And what a great opportunity.
Thanks, Tilly. It was a wonderful opportunity and I had a really enjoyable week.
Oh my that is a gorgeous example … oh so shiny too 🙂
Imagine polishing it, Geoff? 😁
Hehehe … I kinda like polishing … I find it therapeutic 🙂

Mmmm… shiny 🙂
Now that must be an interesting place to be. The picture is fabulous.
It is such a fascinating place, Kate.
When I saw the steam fountain, I thought Steampunk! Which, of course, also makes me think of you 🙂
