what fun, a treat for the mouth as well as the mind!
Haha, thanks, Christine 🙂 Have you got any nicknames?
only one from early childhood, my grandfather called me “knock ee top off” since that is what i said when he was chopping the head off the chook we would eat for sunday lunch 🙂
LOL! 😀
I love this, it rolls off the tongue 🙂
Thanks, Gilly. Have you got any nicknames?
At school I was radish – my surname was radford – and I hated it!
Very annoying being called something you don’t like – (I’ve had a few of those too ;-))

Thanks for the photo 🙂 Will put a link to SPP in my blog roll.
I agree with the other commenters – I love this! I’ve read it four times already.
Thank you so much; hard to believe any post of mine could prompt this, but how wonderful and flattering! 🙂
Thanks, Jules. Love your blog – your post about your dad and Burger King is a standout in the Blogosphere 😀
Wow – thank you so much – you just made my day! 🙂
Thanks much, Bluebee. We really appreciate that — A link back to SPP is definitely wonderful. Great post! –Love it! 🙂
You remind me of Baldrick from Blackadder. Can’t find the clip on youtube…but the turnip shaped like a thingy?
Haven’t seen that one, Kate – I’m intrigued…
Do you have any nicknames?
Will try to find it but youtube don’t seem to have it. It’s a classic.
I suspect you’re up watching the opening ceremony, Kate – a wonderful affair judging by the photos and reports in the online papers this morning.
I am 🙂 Loving it! Stovepipe hats and Voldemort and Rowan Atkinson on the synthesiser. Well worth a butchers 🙂
Yes, best not to mention the rude ones – haha – I love nicknames and pet names (just can’t help myself when it comes to shortening peoples names and stuff like that) 🙂 Havagoodweekend Blu!
You too, Gabe 🙂 (Any nicknames you care to share?)
Crook, Crooky Monster, Killer, Smiley 🙂
‘Crooky Monster’ is perfect 😀
(PS – I have a friend who used to call me ‘Delicious Monster’ when we were younger :))
You probably better not explain that one – haha
BB, the last line made me smile. I wondered hat education I had missed!
(Don’t enlighten me!)
Thank you
John
Some things are better left unsaid, haha – Thanks, John 😀
Funny! 😉
Do you have any nicknames, Elizabeth?
Brilliant. When I was in my early 20s I went to a party dressed as Bette Davis from Whatever Happened To Baby Jane (it was a Hallowe’en Party) and I still have some people who call me Baby J. I’ll admit it was a pretty crazy makeover I had. I think that’s why it made such an impression. I even scared myself!
Whoa! Remind me never to tangle with you, haha.
Great post..always such fun to read you 🙂
Lovely comment – thanks, Anne
