The Kantian connection is rather obscure, so your groggy, foggy, sloggy self is not way off the mark. 😀 I had a boss who used to say: my understanding is the meaning of your communication.
Using these photo subjects as a means to humour on my blog. I felt a bit guilty snapping them in their shut eye reverie, but only for a second. 😆
OMG! That’s so funny, BB. I was focused on the handicap sign and strained my weary brain to figure out how these meditative souls were “using” each other. And it was YOU all along, stealing their images for your own ends.
The reference to Kant makes sense now too ~ if we can’t use perfectly posed and poised models for the amusement and entertainment of the social media masses, we’re doomed!

Kant was an idjit. Many people in one’s lives are means, and would not mean to be ends in themselves. Others have meaningful ends without having been means. Simple: see?

Actually, Col, anyone can sit in a seat for the disabled, but must vacate it if a disabled person boards.
Makes sense! I haven’t seen disabled seats here – only disabled parking which is never supposed to be occupied by anyone not. Of course, you always get the chancers.

Taking another look at this photo, I am amazed that these folks can sleep without keeling over, leaning on, and thus using each other etc. I missed your guilt at snapping without permission. Good challenge, BB.
