Taxi – Shibuya Crossing, Tokyo
If you love people-watching, Shibuya Crossing is a fascinating place to linger – just a pity that there are not enough decent outdoor street-level cafes to do so. π¦
For more entries to this week’s photo challenge, see The Daily Post.
Shibuya looks like a bustling city. I suppose there aren’t too many outdoor cafes on the street because of air pollution caused by traffic. I’m sure you saw interesting things as you were walking along the streets π
So many interesting things there, Mabel from the beautiful, to the bizarre, to the downright disturbing e.g. Pets in prams – a common sight. π
Cities = too much hustle and bustle for me. Love the yellow taxi.
Hope your holidays are Merry and Bright. Filled with Peace, Hope, Love, Joy, and Light.
Thanks, Nancy. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and are enjoying Boxing Day. π
My…it does look quite busy there…the yellow cab perfect to meet the photo challenge.
Thanks, Charles. I read somewhere that up to 3000 people per hour cross at this crossing. Mind-boggling.
That yellow cab really stands out! What a great pic for the challenge π
I hope you have a wonderful holiday time and stay safe and happy in the new year xxxxx
Thanks, Dianne. Hope you are having a very happy festive season. π»
Wow, bb – it looks just like a scene from “Bladerunner” !!!!!
It does, M-R. I could not get the movie out of my head while I was there. I really have to watch it again. Ridley Scott was before his time in so many ways, wasn’t he? I watched the doco you posted and it seems that making the movie wasn’t a happy experience for many.
He was breaking such a huge amount of new cinematographic ground, I think, bb. In the end they were all THRILLED, of course …
Goodness it looks so busy. Happy Christmas BB.
Hello Jo π Happy Christmas π
busy, busy photo but excellent π Hope you had a great Chrissie bb xo
Happy Christmas, Gabe – hope you’ve had a wonderful Silly Season so far. And that you’re getting some time off from your new job over this period to spend at home. ππ
I’d love to be a fly on the wall there,BB!
Have a wonderful New Year π
Happy 2015, Kate. π
